new tires

Well I'm looking at buying new wheels and tires for my truck. Right now it has the 17 inch on it With the tiny 245 70 17 tires.
I want to upgrade to 18 inch. But I'm unsure of the tire size. I want something a bit bigger to feel up the wheel well. I was think about 265 70 18 or 275 70 18 .
I just don't want anything that is going to rub when truning.
the truck is a stock 2013 f250 4x4 with the gas engine. I don't think it has any special suspension package. But it does set level front to back.
thanks for any input.

Hey im sure 2013 might have different specs, but I have always read that 33x12.5" tires are the largest that will fit on a 100% stock super duty. Maybe with aftermarket wheels with less back spacing you could fit larger.

I've got 275/70R18 on mine which is a stock size. I've heard of guys going to a 295/70R18 with little or no rubbing stock.

275/70R18, 275/75R18, and 295/70R18 all fit fine, 285/75R18 might fit but is pushing past the 35" mark. I ran 295/70R18E Nitto Trail Grapplers with zero complaints

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to look at different trucks in my area but they either have the same size tires as mine or they got the 20 inch wheels on them.

you can go to places like national tire and wheel and tire rack and research the specs on tires. for width and diameter
