Frame vin ? please

Frame vin ? please

Good day, I have a 79 scs 140" w.b. that I am building and came across a local ad with a fellow selling a painted 1974 4x4 frame with front/rear axels/divorced transfer case/steering box etc. He is claiming this also to be a 140" wb. From what I see in the pics the rear spring width seems to be about 2 1/4" [correct for the scs] but the spacing from the wheel to the frame looks off. My questions are: did ford ever make a scs in a 4x4 in 1974 or any other year? Is there any way I can tell from the frame vin # ? I am all most thinking this was either a duelly or highboy with the standard 133" w.b. [I may be able to email some pics to any one willing to help as I am not sure how to post pics here] Thanks for your help in advance
