I love the flex, but it's way too expensive in base trim, and it has got all the bad fuel economy of a big SUV with none of the payload or towing capability.

Agreed with the above post. It's a great looking ride, IMO, but you certainly don't see many running around. I guess it just costs too much for what essentially is a large station wagon.

I think the Flex is a great vehicle, and something that may be in the future for my family. However, it is surprisingly expensive.

We love our flex, but we already have the f-150 for hauling and towing so these were not needed in a family vehicle. My wife needed something awd that would seat six that was low enough for her to easily get car seats and kids in and out of, so for this the flex was the perfect car for us.

I believe the Flex is "under marketed"! Think about it, how many TV commercials or print ads have you seen that feature the Flex (ALONE)?

Hardly anyone outside the Ford community even knows the Flex exists, or even heard of it. It has been my experience that once someone gets in it, they are immediately impressed!! Maybe Ford is happy having the Flex relegated to "niche" status or "leaving it in the shadows", but it is a great vehicle nonetheless!!

We are on our second Flex. Love the utilization and looks. As stated by Jetpilot Ford has not marketed the Flex well. They have an opportunity to target the old minivan crowd that want something trendy but they haven't done so. Oh well ours should last many more years.
