i have a 1960 stepside and i am having some trouble finding some tin for it. i am looking for the inner front fenders, and the floor boards. if there is any one that can help me with this search i would appreciate it.
I don't think anybody makes repo. front inner fenders. I've seen some rusty ones on ebay, I would check the dry climate salvage yards. Floor boards I'm not sure, but 57Ford replaced his so ask him(might give a few links later). Later, -4speed
Hi,
4speed is right, nobody is re-producing the inner fenders at this time. I did a quick search, and found these: http://www.fordantiqueparts.com/
They are listed as '57-'58, but they do fit '57-60.
FYI, I used the classic fabrication for my front floor and cab mounts. They looked a little home made but it was made of hevy sheet steel. You will loose the hump behind the gas pedel. It all fit and the cab sat level with no adjusting. You will need to have some fabrication skills to do the job. And a welder.(brace the cab before you cut the floor) The inner fenders, Look in Hemmings motor news you can find one of these books at most book stores.
