First off I'd like to thank anyone in advance for any help and advice that you may throw my way. Also I look forward to browsing around the site and learning new things in the future!

So I'm in the market for my first "Big Boy Truck". I live in West Georgia and LOVE seeing lifted trucks and have wanted one since I was young. Only now at 25 am I able to take my hard work ethic and benefit from it buying a truck that i've longed for.

I'm in the market for either a lifted F150 or F250. I'm looking for advice on what i should get based on what i'll let ya'll know i will use it for (i dont want to be throwing away money on things i dont need).

Here goes;

16k - 26k

2005 - 2012

less than 150k miles (depending on what ya'll tell me)

4x4 - for the obvious (i do lots of camping, tired of bumming rides to get to the middle of nowhere from my friends)

4 doors (for the future family)

Already Lifted - (i'd like to buy it that way because i know i wont fork the money out to have it done myself once i buy one)

Diesel or Gas doesn't matter to me. (pros/cons on both? MPG?)

Wont be doing much towing (besides a 4 wheeler in the future) aside from your average mans load of winter firewood and impulse purchases.

Again, i can't wait to see what you all have to say!
