No joking....

The issue is around cars like my GT40 and others that have Roll-bars or Roll-Cages in them..
Current Roll bar padding is grossly insufficient to protect you from cranial injury should you slam your head into a steel tube.
Yes this even includes the SFI rated padding - this stuff is only good for incidental helmet contact.

I've not read or been able to find any ruling on the subject. Lots about helmets and motorcycles however..
----
Interested in other's views on this as well, but would really like a LEO point of view..
I am guessing the only reason that you couldn't is due to partial blocking of your vision. I will do some checking tomorrow. Have never heard that one before.

With the engine running - Do you see bubbles in the degas bottle?
White smoke out the tailpipe?

I have heard that NAPA has test strips that you can use that detect combustion byproducts in the coolant. I've never used them though..

Dave??

Yeah, that would be the number one reason most bikers don't want to wear a helmet... I wear mine when I ride though...

Thanks for checking for me..

No.
Yes and bubbles after I shut it off.
Nope. None.

I did have a small leak on passenger side.....somewhere but stopped. I thought the water pump but like I said it stopped. Weird! I am guessing it is starting to drink it. I have a lead on another Park Ave with a little over 200k for $650. I just need a beater to get me thru this next year. Des will be done with school and she will buy a new car and I get her hand me down.

If you were closer I'd tell you to-bring it over and we could pressure test it.. It might be a hose or possibly heater core too..

I had bought a bottle of BlueDevil headgasket sealer for Jake's car but found that it was the water pump so....

Amazon Amazon

I generally don't like the Mechanic-in-a-can stuff, but this has some really good reviews and is pretty well known to work... You can use it with anti freeze, but I would bet it would be more effective if you drained the system and just had water in it util it was sealed up..

Happy Friday guys.

Cory-my guess (and that's all it is) would be the intake is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber.

Stupid Wild lost last night. They skated like crap.

Good morning Troy.

Not a bad plan if they continue that way the rest of the season. But it was just one game. They have been better the last half of the year.

I suppose they should get another game or two under their belt before we send them off to figure skating! haha
