State Patrol will probably show up. It depends on the officer. I have heard some never bother to show if its a petty traffic citation.

Would it be illegal to drive a car while you're wearing a helmet?

No joking....

The issue is around cars like my GT40 and others that have Roll-bars or Roll-Cages in them..
Current Roll bar padding is grossly insufficient to protect you from cranial injury should you slam your head into a steel tube.
Yes this even includes the SFI rated padding - this stuff is only good for incidental helmet contact.
