Alan has donuts I did check out a local bakery here not too long ago. Went in asking for the basic stuff, and knew I was in trouble when they had no clue what a "Long John" is. The yuppies have destroyed donut shops, and coffee.
Another round of Physical Therapy this morning, then I'm half way through it, and I can tell that the surgery was a success.
Nothing truck wise to share, other than I'm going to at least vacuum out the truck, and do the glass inside, we have rain coming in, and if I wash it, it becomes a guarantee.
I got sore from laying around sick and wandered down to the garage to putter around a bit and noticed that the air temp sensor boss on my replacement lower intake wasn't drilled and tapped.
Drilling and tapping the boss isn't that scary, but my success rate in the past isn't that hot...
I have a stack of four bumpers now. A purge solenoid in a Chevy truck and the front differential out of a Suzuki. ......and EQ is peeled and outside waiting for more detailing.
A guy dropped off a motorcycle to get a rear fender made for it and that Edge still needs to get in the door before I leave today.
I went in at 0700, didn't take lunch until a few minutes ago. Didn't even get a lunch yesterday. I thought I'd get to take off when ever I wanted if I had my own shop. What the heck?!
78 ford
Do any of you guys know this truck? Haven't even called about it, yet. Just looking around at this point. I've had my 04 longer than any vehicle I've ever owned the itch to get something different is getting to me!!
I've seen it on the list, but that's about the extent of my knowledge on it. A guy just called me about that '74 Step side I had for sale forever ago. He asked for the black '74 F-100. I said, no, I have a blue '73 F-100 for sale. .....then I realized what truck he was talking about. That ad must be 2 or three years old by now!
I called and he said it's sold but he's having trouble taking the ad down. Looks like it could have fit my needs well. Not too many body issues, runs and drives already and in the price range I could buy before my current truck is sold. I'm in no hurry though. I may find something else, I may get the fenderwell rust fixed on my current truck plenty of possibilities at this point.
