Engine wise I am not sure. I have 220 thousand on my truck since I bought it. Not sure if previous owner replaced engine. 418,000 on truck. Others on 7.3 forum have up to 500,000 on truck with original engine with proper maintenance and an awareness of when things mechanical are going the wrong way.
With proper maintenance most will go 400+ thousand miles. I have personally never done it. I went 200K when my wife decided I need an new truck, so I now have a 2015 6.7. I can tell you at 200K the truck still ran perfectly and had many more miles to go. It had no signs of any wear when I sold it. It is a great motor. I can only hope the 6.7 is still running as strong when it get to 200K
If I remember right, the B10 is 200,000 miles and the B50 is 350,000 miles. Meaning 10% of units produced will need a major repair in the first 200k, and 50% will need a major repair in the first 350k. A major repair is typically anything that involves removing a cylinder head or the oil pan.
I know of one guy that has a '95 7.3 with over 500k on it, last I knew the only things he'd done to the truck was the clutch, starter, and transmission. I know of another guy that has 399k on his '00 7.3 with only a few bolt on parts replaced. If the motor is taken care of you should at least be able to get 300k out of it and 500k shouldn't be hard to reach either.
The body will probably be rusted out before the engine goes.
