Hey........I like them gloves
Worn out many pairs of them, and for $3.99 with the coupon, good deal.
Plus, my guy's wear them.

I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the HF volt meter the video guy was using, the one you get for free with a coupon ($14.99 value).

Do you know if the O2 Sensor is out would it cause the heater to not work. The whole time I've had this van the heater doesn't produce warm air and the check engine light has been on since day 1. When I was looking for answers in Google it sounded like the heater would stop producing warm air if the O2 Sensor was out.

Yes, I realize that, you just posted the link

I was just razzing back at vettex2 for his comment....

But, in fact, that video is a good play on how to check the ohm's on the COP's to find and delete the bad ones. Also a lot of good tips in the video.

Okay let's get one thing straight here................

Testing for DC continuity on the primary side of a COP DOES NOT reveal how its working. That test, called "ohming out" in the above video will ONLY determine whether the primary coil is open---in which case it is a dead COP. Don't trash it, take it to a responsible recyling facility.

I have a few failed Granatelli COP's that even though are known dead still test as "good" using DC resistance check. The only real way to test a COP is it being installed in a working engine.

And I do ask WHY does everyone who posts a DIY YouTube video have some sort of crappy, annoying "music" that opens so loud even dead people complain?

As for the various brands and quality of test meters-----ya get what ya pay for so take that under advisement when buying anything..........Fluke or go home! (That's meant as a joke----most can't or don't want to spend that kind of money on a seldom used somewhat sophisticated tool.)
