ebpv disconnect

ebpv disconnect

Can someone walk me through disconnecting my ebpv? Is there anything to it other than unplug, and coil the wire? I'm just looking to have it broken down Barney-style.

I'm tired of it randomly kicking shut while driving.

Nope just unplug the connector, that is all I did and no troubles.

i unhooked this before i pulled the housing and torched the flapper out and welded the hole shut, to be as simple in explaining that as possible

Is there anywhere to unplug that won't leave a hole?

undoing the metal shaft from the thing on the bottom of the ebpv housing wont leave a hole

Just unplug the electrical connection in the valley coming from directly under the turbo. This will set a code if you have a CA truck but is no biggie

Yep. Just like he said...... just pull the electrical connector. It will default in the open position. Do it when the engine is cool though, turbo area is crazy hot.
