Diesel exhaust Fluid

I have a 2015 F250 King Ranch Diesel and would like to know if different types of exhaust fluids will impact miles per gallon performance of this truck.

DEF doesn't affect the performance of the truck in any way. It is injected into the exhaust stream in from the DOC/SCR part of the processing plant underneath our diesel trucks.

The truck has a DEF quality sensor in it. (Although, I believe it just measures whether NOX is reduced or not). If you get bad DEF it can strand you thanks to the EPA... While I agree that the specs are all the same, fresh DEF is still better and it does have a shelf life.
