223 to top loader ?
any body here put a later style top loader trans behind a 223?
I have a mid 70s 3spd od top loader trans and was wondering if anyone has put one of these behind an early 60s 223
if so what modifications were involved

Not sure if this info might help. If you've got the T&C O.D. that they mention it doesn't seem to support the butterfly pattern. Might be able to drill extra holes if that's what you need. Beyond that is splines and stickout and pilot bearing/bushing to research.
