New excursion owner!
Hey y'all, wanted to introduce myself. I'm a young guy from NC who, a couple weeks ago, purchased an 01 excursion V10 XLT. I grew up with an excursion (00 7.3) as my family's vehicle, and to this day I'm impressed with its toughness and longevity. So it only seemed natural since I've wanted a large suv (and being an all-around Ford lover {woot!}) to get an excursion for my very own. It needs some body work, but I'm not super anxious about getting that done. I'm more interested in functionality than form. Since I plan on moving out to the Colorado Rockies in the fall, I'm gonna need some advice on turning this truck into an ice-eating, ditch-shrugging, fog-killing, snowboard-hauling monster!
