Tow package wiring
Okay, so all of a sudden my trailer tail/park lights don't work. Determined that relay wasn't working so replaced it. Wrong answer, still no lights. Further investigation revealed that relay ground was not grounded. Who would have thunk it? Anyway, the wiring diagram shows that the ground wire has a diode in it. Anyone know where it's located and where the ground, (orange) wire originates from?

I believe there is a wiring bundle/plug behind the driver's side tail lamp, not 100% sure since I don't use a hitch, but I have seen it while replacing bulbs in my 1997.
remove the driver's side tail lamp and look in the cavity. Another possibility is that the fuse is missing in the fuse box.

Yes, like I said in the original post, the relay for the tail lights was replaced and didn't help. Further troubleshooting revealed a bad ground to the relay. If I jumper the ground I can hear the relay working and the lights work. Schematic shows a diode in the ground wire that I'm suspecting. I need to know where it is located.
