Antilock and brake warning lights??
I have a problem with my '90 Aerostar. When I step on the gas, the rear antilock warning light and the brake warning light come on together. When I step on the brake, the lights go off. Does anyone have a clue as to what this could mean? I know that when ony the antilock light comes on, it means that I have a brake light out, but my brake lights are working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 95 and had a similar problem. Below the master cylinder is the brake proportioning valve. On the top of it is a screw in plug. I believe it is a brake pressure switch. Mine corroded so the system thought I had no brake pressure. I shot it with some WD-40 and reinstalled it. That was 3 years ago. Worked like a champ. The dealer wants about $20 for the part.
