brake questions

my 1973 f100 2wd, has manual brakes ( disk front drum back), my question is if i buy a new brake booster and master cylinder combo, can i just bolt it on and go, i have the mounting hardware, so what else would i need for power brakes?

Booster, booster bracket, check valve, hose, and an available vacuum source.... maybe longer hard lines cuz the mc moves forward by a corresponding amount.

I have the mount off a donor truck have the check valve and hose for the vacuum and a fitting for the vacuum, I think the lines to my mc could be moved forward with ease so that's it?

I'm pretty sure the brake pedal is different too ... not sure whether it could be adapted or would need to be swapped though.

I don't know if they're compatible or not, but NumberDummy has said in the past that there are 22 different brake pedals for these trucks:

Power brakes use a different brake pedal than manual brakes.

D3TZ-2455-A .. Brake Pedal-Use with power brakes / Marked: D3TA-2455-AA

D3TZ-2455-B .. Brake Pedal-Use with manual brakes / Marked: D3TA-2455-CA

Make sure the pedal you get is marked D3TA-2455-AA because...

There are TWENTY TWO different brake pedals, NINETEEN different master cylinders, SEVENTEEN different power brake boosters and SEVEN different clutch pedals, I kid you not!

I don't know the one on my 73( manual) was exactly the same as the one of my part truck 77( power) so I don't know if it had been modified or what the deal was, where is the number on the petal?

so my truck is a 73f100 manual/brake, and the part truck was a 77 f-150 power/brake( no longer have the pedal) but the measurement were exactly the same height from floor, distance from fire wall, hole size for the bolt to go on, the, I guess what im asking is, will my 73 f100 manual brake pedal work if I put a booster and correct hardware on it? or will I have a problem?

ok heres the number off my 1973 f100(100% manual) petal D3TA-CA the other number is 10-8-72, based off this what exactly would I need to do to put power on my truck?
would I need a pedal off a power truck or can I make mine work?

That I don't know - mine has manual brakes and I haven't converted to power or tried to compare pedals; I just know that NumberDummy always says there are bunch of different pedals - something must be different between them, but I don't know how much is just lever ratios and how much is positioning of the mounts/connection points.

my grandpa says they have done it before just put the mount and booster and had no problems with pedal or any thing else, but I had a 77 part truck and the pedal looked exactly the same as my 73 manual so I dunno what the true difference is , but do see what he means by 22 different pedals( although my buddys 74 has the same stamp as mine( 73 manual) and his is a 74 f100 ( 4 speed 351 with power brakes)
