Cab and Chassis

I just bought a 2000 F-350 Cab and Chassis with a utility bed installed. I was wanting to put a a regular long bed on it. Does anyone have experience with this? Can this be done?

Thanks,

Tim

Shouldn't be a problem. Just contact one of the utility box companys. They usually have 1000's of stock beds that they have pulled off of other trucks that want utility beds. In fact, you may be able to swap with someone getting a conversion.
"Harbor" does a lot of them.

If that is a true cab and chassis the frame is straight behind the cab and it will be difficult to make a stock bed fit. Many super duty trucks were ordered "bed delete" and stock beds will fit right on.

Yeah, I believe it is a true cab and chassis. The frame is straight with the beams being 34' apart. I believe the frame on a regular truck is about 36' apart. I just wasn't sure if a factory truck bed could be modified to fit it.
