Red Hot F150

My sister-in-law called my wife yesterday with a harrowing tale. Her husband was driving the 2014 F-150. She smelled something burning. Her calves were getting hot. She looked out the back window only to see flames trailing from the truck. They stopped and bailed out. The truck was fully involved and Cathy's hair was singed when bailing. We assume the popping noise in the video is ammunition going off. It is my understanding that the incident is under investigation. By whom, I don't yet know.

That's kinda frightening. I haven't heard of the 14s having a problem with "spontaneous combustion" so I'm interested as to the cause.

Regarding the ammunition going off, if I had driven up in a fire truck I'm pretty sure my response would have been "it's not hurting anything right there -- we can put it out in a few minutes".....
