Does Cold weather affect difference between EOT/FWT

This may be a dumb question but Im wondering if it mat be time to replace my EGR & oil cooler.
In have done all the precautions added a coolant filter and been monitoring the last few years with SG2. Out plowing snow and the temps here have been -10 - 10 the last few days. here are my readings at idle and on the highway wondering if it may be time for some work or if these readings are within acceptable range given current conditions. No coolant loss that I can detect.
Idle (After operating) EOT-170 FWT 164
Highway at 60mph EOT-189 FWT 173
Original EGR and Cooler 110,000 miles.
I have been lucky so far with this issue but have been wondering if these readings are reasonable or if Im just getting paranoid staring at my SG2 all of the time.

Even when my thermostat was new and in -10 temps the FWT was still in the 180's. And so your FWT being in the 160's-170's seems really low and I'd bet it's sticking open a little.

The t-stat is very easy to replace and one of the less costly items on the engine. I'd recommend replacing it if it were my truck.

Look into a 200 degree Mishimoto, stock is 185 and often too cold.

Yep, time for a new thermostat. I see it often recommended that optimal performance will be had keeping your 6.0 operating around 200 degrees.

The oil cooler is also a oil warmer. Really it's a counter flow heat exchanger between the coolant and oil. So whether the oil is being warmed or cooled by the coolant, it should be within 15 degrees ideally. That range expands under load of course.
