Computer codes on the dashboard Hellpp please
Ok, hears the prob, I have a 86 F-150 with a 302 EFI the first year ford made it. The truck has a lot of mods, headers with true duel ex no cats, K&N cool air intake filters, but the motor dosent run just right, how do you flash the codes on the dash and how do you read them, also is there a way to override emmisons, with out using a carb? it has a the norm seners and O2, map, mass air flow, no EGR, has pcv i think, anyway i anyone know anything please help !!!!

There's no good reason to "override" the emissions systems - they're too easy & cheap to maintain, and the truck runs better with them anyway.
And there were 5.0L EFIs in '84 - I've seen them in junkyards.
