My 1966 F100 project is getting a new engine. The 390 I was going to freshen up, but it is not going to work anymore for my life. So it was decided for me I needed a more economical swap. So I found a $600 1997 80K mile Crown Vic. Only down side it is a npi engine, but that can be addressed later cheap enough.
I have been looking up swaps, and have found a couple of aftermarket providers for harnesses.
What I really need is a diagram to remove what wires I do not need. Or a forum post that gives a good explanation, and not hints of what they done.
Also which is the best manifold for a truck? The Mustang or F150? Or do they happen to be the same? Later I would like to get a Bullit style intake to dress it up.
Also for a F100 swap which headers are best to start with? Mustang, CV, F150, or other type.
