I just bought an '86 Bronco 351w and the guy told me only the defrost works on the heater, it won't push through the vents, idk where to start to see what's wrong? Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like a climate-control vacuum leak. Take a look at the "FAQs" at the top of the Bronco Forum here, there may be something about it. It's a common topic.

There is 2 types of heat/AC for 80-86 trucks. Factory installed, which is vacuum controlled, and dealer installed, which is cable controlled. For 80-86 trucks, the heat only comes out the defroster vents, and the floor, if you have vents on the dash, they are for AC only. Does your floor heat work? Is your blower motor working? You may want to remove it, and check if there is anything in there blocking it. It is common for leaves to get in there.
