You know there has been a reunion planed or talked about between Page and Plant....
I don't know if it is true or not but the local Classic Rock station said it had been talked about and is true...
Of course John Paul Jones would join also...
I also have a friend who likes Zep and said he thinks Page and Plant did alittle gig together for VH1....I never saw it if it was on..
So anyone got anymore info???
I sure would like to see them preform cause I was only a baby when they were around.
I was born in 77 and they dis-banded in 80 because of Bonhams death, so I wasn't old enough to know them or go to a concert...
Hope they do cause I don't think they would come to Mississippi but I would go to the closest city they come too...
So if you got some more info please pass it on...

Well, Paige and Plant playing together wouldn't exactly be out of the ordinary. What year did they put out "Walking into Clarksdale" after all? 1998, just looked it up.
I think they all vowed to never play as "Led Zeppelin" again after Bonham's death. They appeared together twice since then, for one or two song charity events, but nothing more.
Page and Plant have done some stuff together, the Unledded album, etc... but JPJ was left out, intentionally IMHO, so it wasn't a Zeppelin reunion.
Page and Plant may hook up again, but I can't see JPJ joining in.
I'm with you Jim, I'd love to see it, but I think they all know that it's best to let sleeping dogs lie. It'd be awfully hard to recapture what they had.
It's been known to happen with other bands who swore they would play 'when hell freezes over'. The Eagles for instance, they reunited and recorded "When Hell Freezes Over". Pink Floyd reunited to record "Momentary Lapse of Reason". That's just to name two. It is common among musicians to change their minds. Perhaps the band won't call themselves Led Zeppelin. It's impossible to read the minds of artists.
Besides Plant, Page, Jones, and Jason Bonham elready said they would do it some day. This was said after Plant & Page recorded "Walking Through Clarksdale". They have all appeared on one another's solo albums.

Very true. The Police, Simon and Garfunkel, etc... there's lots of examples of what the right situation and enough money can do.
The only point I'd make is that those other groups split up because they hated each other. In the case of Zeppelin, they broke up because one of the 4 died, and they all agreed that Zeppelin could not exist without John Bonham. That's a strong bond to break.
It was always Jason Bonham's dream to play with the rest of Zeppelin, but I'm not sure that's enough to get them recording or out on the road again.
I'm kinda torn, I'd love to see them live, but at the same time, I don't think it would be the same, it would kind of cheapen Zeppelin in a way.
Good point about the reasons for bands breaking up, Waxy. True, that it wouldn't be the same. But, with the fact that the name of Bonham lives, they may find a shread of inspiration to take a little nostalgia trip. Not as Led Zeppelin, but, under a different name.
I'd bet John Bonham would approve.
Heard that rumor too.. but doubt it will happen.
Ive seen them live at Madison Sq Garden in '72... still lives in my mind.. just ...awesome......!!
