1987 front axle interchange ?
I have a bone stock 87 bronco with 373 gears. The manual locking hub has broken on the drivers side. It is not the style that has the bolts around the perimiter that hold the locking hub on, its some different style not very popular.
I cant find a replacement lock/hub so I thought Id swap the entire front axle assembly with another.
My question is what axle assembly should I be looking for that will bolt in place?
thnx

Good call on the swap. It's what I would do. That '87 axle with the flange hubs was a horrible idea.
Any Dana 44 TTB from a 1980 to 1996 F-150/Bronco will bolt up. There really weren't many changes except to the caliper mounting style and possibly the u-joint style. If you have new calipers or otherwise want to keep the brakes you have now, make sure the donor axle is the same style.
