Hey guys, weird lighting issue going on.

1. If I pull the **** out to the parking light position I get nothing.

2. If I pull the **** out to the headlight position I get headlights but no parking lights/ taillights.

3. If I push the **** mid way between the two positions I get both parking light/ taillights and headlights on.

I suspected the headlight switch so I replaced the switch and the connector but still having the same problem.

Hve you checked the in cab fuses for the marker lights? The switch will cross feed the marker lights from the headlight feed mid position.

 

Haven't checked that yet, do you know which fuse position it is?

 

Fuse assignments are in the owner's manual. They're also on the inside of the interior fuse box cover, in very, VERY small print (like, get a magnifying glass small).

 

Thanks for the help guys, it ended up being a combination of the bad headlight switch/ plug, blown #5 fuse, and a loose wire for the cab lights.
