Maintenance & repairs:
· Please note: This is a personal use truck mainly for longer distance driving, I am the third owner and i purchased the vehicle March 2003 and it had 106000 miles on it at that time
· 8/2003: Installed new front wheel bearings during brake job. Also replaced rear wheel cylinders This truck uses F350 bearings. Also, purchased special socket to remove front wheel nuts that will go with truck.
· 12/2003: Bedford Ford (Bedford Pennsylvania) replaced water separator/fuel filter assembly. It's kept drained regularly.
· 9/2003 Under extended warrantee the following was replaced. Rear posi traction unit was worn and replaced with a Detroit Locker. Front driveshaft replaced with new. Main driveshaft rebuilt with new u-joints
· Both differentials have been upgraded from 4.10 to 3.73 (improved highway driving and MPG).
· Side step bars recently replaced. I sanded and coated them with Rustoleum bed liner.
· There is a fitted rubber bed floor mat.
· It does have a Ford installed trailer received hitch.
· Has AM/FM/CD player in dash.
· Has rear cab sliding window and camper top has front sliding window for passthrough from cab.
· 12/2004: Rebuilt front end with Moog parts: upper/lower ball joints, all tie rods and sleeves and both front rubber brake hoses.
· 12/2006: Replaced fuel pressure switch.
· 12/2006: replaced glow plug relay.
· 7/2007: Replaced fuel lift pump.
· 01/2008: Replaced starter.
· 9/2010: Replaced alternator.
· 5/2012 Original transmission rebuilt using new TRW internal parts. Also replaced were, torque converter, accumulator and solenoid blocks.
· 10/2012: TS Performance chip with 6 position rotary control dial purchased from and installed by Thoroughbred Diesel in Winchester, KY. This was installed to maximize stock performance and MPG (not to hot rod truck). Only settings used above stock are 50 or 75 HP.
· 11/2012: installed new water pump along with all hoses, thermostat, belt, checked to ensure EGR tube from sensor into passenger side exhaust manifold was clear.
· 11/2012: Installed coolant filtration system during water pump install using Puralator coolant filter W54452). Can be seen in engine pics near mster cylinder.
· Ford Motorcraft "diesel cooling system additive" used at coolant changes and tested with proper coolant test strips.
· Distilled water used when flushing & topping up coolant system. System does not leak and truck has never been overheated.
· 9/2013: My local Ford dealer installed recall "09S09" related to speed control system. This can be seen as a new wire pigtail next to brake master cylinder.
· 07/2014: Installed stainless steel brake lines (from Classic Tube) adn rubber line to rear diff.
· High pressure pump oil is changed at each oil change (typically on 3000 to 4000 mile intervals). Oil used is Shell Rotella 15w40. Have only used Motorcraft oil and fuel filters.
· Power Service diesel fuel additive used at each fill-up (over 11 yrs of ownership).
· Dual fuel tanks are kept filled and used alternately to maintain fresh fuel.
· Has auxiliary brake for trailer brakes.
· The 7.3 engine plaque covering high pressure pump is not seen in pics but will be on the truck when sold.
· The driver door light will have a new bulb installed
· Items that go with truck:
o Set of aluminum 7"x16" rims. A large storage container in pickup bed.. Remainder of fuel additive.
o Perhaps 2-3 gallons of Shell Rotella oil.
o If I can find the old posi unit and rear gears they will also go with truck.

This is probably the most well maintained truck i have ever seen.. I am posting this for a very good friend of mine... I already have my 7.3 excursion or id be buying this for myself!
