6.0 engine idle issues
I have a 2005 f250 6.0 with egr delete, new turbo, banks 6 gun etc. truck runs great, strong, only 115,000 miles on it. The issue im having is the idle (sometimes) goes from 690 rpms which seems good, then it will dip down to the 620 range then jump to around 780. Ive researched this issue and most symptoms point to a ICP sensor. Its only happened once but yesterday it didn't want to start. I cranked it a couple times and it would turn over but didn't start. On the third try it fired up. Since then it hasn't happened. Just wanted some thoughts on this issue before i proceed with the ICP. Also my tuner is not telling me of any codes coming up so I'm lost. Could be ICP sensor, got a scanner so you can pull any codes and see what the hpop is doing, have had problems with the IRC on the 6.0's before, and youy need to check the EOT and ECT should be about 10 degree's warmer on the oil side. Without a scan tool it's a guessing game and you want it fixed right the first time.

The oil does always run 10 degrees warmer about 180f range vs engine temp and I've had the full EGR delete, new oil cooler and turbo replaced so im hoping its nothing related to that. It also seems like when im going down the road at about 1200-1300 rpm range the motor is just not running smooth, when i get on it it takes off, its just in that 1200-1300 range.
