So I lurked in the shadows for many years.
I just bought a 2003 f250 7.3 with 66,000 miles on it and she is a beauty.
Mods that came with her include an exhaust and an edge chip (which I DO NOT recommend!! I'm saving money for a DP tuner.
I had an issue (not debilitating but annoying) that I couldn't find and answer to but found some good leads on, thus the reason for my joining and posting.
I don't work on my own truck, I leave that for my husband but I do typically diagnose and scour threads for help and detailed posts.
So if you're still reading, bored, and a 7.3 pro take a look at the recent post about a dead spot in the throttle related to the TPS and IVS.
Thanks for reading my boring intro

66K that 7.3 isn't even broke in yet. Nice find Now as far as the TPS and IVS some guys have had good luck with removing the pedal assy and using electrical contact cleaner on it. Also when it is out of the truck it is easier to check it with a dvm. There was a thread on TPS what the ohms should be in the 7.3 area. Sorry I don't know it off hand.
