For the amount of money you paid, I'd be calling him yesterday! It shouldn't smell burnt nor should it be shifting that way. I occasionally smelled regular fluid a little bit ago, but it has since gone away and is shifts perfect.

She's going back down to lead hill this weekend I'm going to leave it with Brian for the week so he can drive it and tune it and go through whatever he needs to go through

Well I drove the truck around some yesterday, went probably 10 15 miles.... it's about 15 degrees here now. discovered it won't act up when it's cold outside. Fluid won't heat above 100 over ambient, when it was acting up its was about 75 outside.

Are you still taking it back to him? I would whether it acts up or not.

Yea me an my buddy dropped it off down there about 9 this morning.... I left him a page an a half letter on the dash of what I had going on with it and various other info. Hopefully everything turns out, ran great on the way down there but again fluid never got warm.

Well Brian had an ice storm while we were getting snow here in Kansas city.... so he finally got around to driving my truck for diagnosis and he experienced the same problem I was having.... so I think he's gonna tear it down again, I haven't actually got to talk to him but his office lady said he was going to be tearing into it some more, dunno when, or when Ill get my truck back yet... hopefully it's soon though.

Man, I'm sorry to hear this. I'm sure he will take good care of you, though. You don't build a reputation like BTS has by giving people the shaft. Well, unless you count billet steel shafts, lol.

That's good news. I am really glad to hear he experienced the issue. It'll get fixed right I am sure.

I'm glad he got it to act up too, I was afraid it'd be to cold and it wouldn't heat up for him, if it doesn't warm up to summer operating Temps it won't act up.... but if anyone would know how to do that it'd be him.... Im assuming he's fixing it, though I don't know, I haven't talked to him, his office lady said they are really busy right now, I was going to have him install my intercooler too but he said they were backed up and wouldn't be able to get to it for several weeks. Which doesn't really surprise me I guess. I just don't really have the time or the desire or facilities to rip the whole front end apart at the moment....
