'79 Bronco help!!
With the price I paid and the condition of the truck is it safe to assume I should get the work done and this truck will hold its value?
So here is the list from the inspection...
Loose Drag Link - What is a drag link? No reference to it in the manuals
Bad front brake hoses - I have replacements is this going to be hard?
Exhaust - He says I need a full replacement. It has a full engine-back dual exhaust with no cat, he says I *have* to go to one pipe with a cat and then split to duals is this going to be expensive to have a shop do? $400-$500?
Parking brake - I have replacement cables- is this going to be very hard?
RS turn signal stays on constant - any thoughts?
Windshield wiper switch - Jeff's Bronco graveyard?
LR safety belt - no idea where to find one
Fuel filler - says there is supposed to be a metal flap in the fuel filler, how do I replace that thing, is is a part or do I have to pull the whole tank?
Air injection - says there is supposed to be an air pump on the front of the engine that is missing, I don't know what he is talking about...
PLEASE any help appreciated...
BFW
Well you have to remove both rear wheels right into about where you would be if replacing the brake shoes
Dusty dirty work !
RS turn signal stays on constant - any thoughts?
Check for burned out bulb on that side
Windshield wiper switch - Jeff's Bronco graveyard?
No big deal ,you can buy new one from a regular parts supplier
LR safety belt - no idea where to find one
Wrecking yard > check for stretched one<
Fuel filler - says there is supposed to be a metal flap in the fuel filler, how do I replace that thing, is is a part or do I have to pull the whole tank?
This sounds like someone punched out the filler tube so they could use leaded gasoline. You can find a new filler tube many place on the net
Air injection - says there is supposed to be an air pump on the front of the engine that is missing, I don't know what he is talking about...
The *Smog pump* runs off the V-belts to run the anti-pollution system usually mounted above the alternator
