Unhappy d60 axle bolt questions

hey all ive got a small question for you. about 2 months ago i snapped a axle shaft and killed a locker in my d60. well i took that opportunity to regear since i needed another locker anyway. well since then i cant keep my axle shafts tight. im using the metal axle seals without any rtv. when the 8 bolts are tight my axles dont leak one drop. but after 1 to 2 weeks max my driver side will start to sling grease out of the axle. ill go to check the bolts and they are finger tight. am i supposed to use blue lock-tight? or are the lock washers on those bolts fubarred? id like to put my center caps back on but i dont want to do that untill im sure my axle will stay tight.

I had the same problem on my 1972 F250..The pax side keep leaking diff. oil out the flange.. The lock washers were flat..I retorqued these twice before changing out the washers..It leaked both times..Since I changed the lock washers they have not loosened up, no leaks..

If the lock washers are too flat they will not do their job. Put new ones on and it should stay tight.
