Recently my 7.3 has been dying when I am sitting at a stop light in gear brake on. I changed fuel filters twice, and still this sporadic problem exists. It is not every time, but often enough to cause concern. Is this a primary pump problem, or injector problem? Has anyone changed over to an electric primary?

 

try some standyne or atf... my truck was noit stalling but going baout 50rpms below idle when i pushed the clutch in and now its cured
