What do you mean by hot rod? My bronco is fast, and has a 460 and a bunch of performance parts. Someone else on here has a lowered one with a flamed paint job.

I wouldn't say stomp. The semi(as much of a joke as they are) weights a good 1500lbs more than the ford. That is HUGE

Oh yeah? And how much bigger is the Hemi engine compared to the little 302?

That Ford beat the Dodge by AT LEAST A FULL car length (or two)! What would you call that?

The so-called "hemi" isn't actually a true hemi, in fact, it's just a marketing gimmick by dodge to get the old fan boys into dealerships.

The combustion chambers aren't really hemi-spherical like they used to be in the late 50's through the mid-60's.

http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...7_hemi_engine/

Plus in this case, the Dodge outweighs the Ford by .7 of a liter, which is a decent enough size, but Brad is right, that Ram is probably 1500-1700 lbs heavier than the Ford, and is probably running stock gears which would be what....3.23's, 3.55's or maybe 3.91's at most?

Plus, we're all missing one glaring problem with that video...they're street racing in the middle of a busy road. What a bunch of idiots! You want to race your trucks?? Either A. take them off road and do it there, or B. take it to a track. A whole myriad of things could go wrong here. No respect for other people, just to settle some grudge you have against some other guy with a truck?? The epitome of stupidity right there.

What does it take to get into this club? Does 1/2" more stroke, TFS heads with 10.5:1 CR, full roller valve train w/a custom cam grind, shot-peened rods, ARP fasteners, and a 750 CFM Street Demon qualify?

I have a 460/C6 swapped into a 82 F100 shortbed. It rides lower than stock and is plenty fast. Unfortunately, it is just in black primer so far and the interior still needs completed, so pictures are not all that appealing.

That's kinda difficult as I think there is a limit of how many pictures you can put in one post. As the sig says, the truck is down for a "resto-mod" - "resto" since the bodywork is being restored to its former glory, and "mod" since there are a few changes, like a small tweak or two to the engine , a ZF5 tranny, Bronco buckets and console, upgraded electrical system, etc.

Here's a pic of the cab from a couple of weeks ago:

And here's a shot of a mock-up of the engine showing the heads, aluminum intake (Eddy shown), 4bbl carb (Eddy shown), Flow Kooler aluminum waterpump, tall valve covers to clear the Scorpion roller rockers, and the to-be dual-snorkel air cleaner, which will be plumbed to the core support for cold air.
