will the seat tracks on a 1995 f-150 40-20-40 seat from a supercab fit a regular cab with no modifications? i currently have a bench seat with folddown armrest.
The seat in my 87 regular cab is held on to the track frame with 4 bolts. I got a seat from a 95 extended cab and wished I would have kept my old seat track and just switched the seats. Anyway back to your question, the seat track from the 95 ext. cab fit right in my 87 reg. cab with no modification. I took the seat off the track and had to put some spacers in the front because it was not high enough, it was like I was sliding out of it tword the steering wheel. I used about a 1.5" spacer to get it back up to where it felt like the old one. I think the seat your looking at will have to use the seat track it comes with because don't all 3 parts move independently?
the center seat in that 40-20-40 arrangement does not move. only the outside ones slide. my concern is the inner tracks fitting properly to the floorboard. the outer tracks are at some what of a downward angle.. i also looked under the cab and could not find any unused mounting reinforcements only a couple of rubber plugs that do not appear to be in the correct locations for inner seattracks. i dont mind a little drilling just dont want to have to fab up anything for the mounts.
