Looking for some opinions for pipes on my 460, any torque or hp gains would be a bonus. Fairly stock mid 70's 460 with new timing chain, performer RPM intake and Holley 770 carb.
A suggestion I've seen was 2.5" dual h-pipe. I want to put headers when I can afford it but need to get it running for now. The exhaust shop should be able to use most of my exhaust when I do?? I was thinking of dual 3". Is there much performance difference with 2.5 to 3" exhaust pipes?
I think 3" sounds better.....
Any ideas for mufflers? Not glasspacks/cherry bombs.
Thanks.
