Question for those with a bench seat in your 48-52 truck

I have a split bench here from a mid 80s monte carlo with a fold down arm rest, probably a 60/40, but the head rest seemed too far over to the passenger side to be comfortable when sitting behind the wheel. I am going to mock it up again with no head rests, but really for me if 3 people cannot fit in the truck comfortably there is no real reason to keep the bench.
Even with the two bucket seats that I was planning on using there isnt much room between them after centering the drivers side seat with the steering column.
I will post pics when I can, dealing with over a foot of snow that fell last night into today, so it has been a day of plowing and shoveling snow. I gotta ask Ben what the temp is in Austin today!

Hey Dave,
Today wasn't too nice - topped out around 50 degrees. But over the past week we've been in the upper 70's 3 days - hitting 81 degrees on one particularly nice day. Cedar Fever is awful - you wouldn't like it here - better to stay up there in the frozen tundra.
I like this seat from a Honda Passport used by DMack up in Oregon.
Good luck up there Dave - it must be time for another training mission to Austin!

If you're going with bucket seats, look into seats from a Dodge Caravan they're high back seats and some are power. Plus, the mid 90s to early 00s seats have a sliding storage compartment under the front passenger seat. Plus, the height is perfect, they have built in seat brackets and arm em rests on both sides. I have a pair of the seats in my 51 Panel.

With a bench you could put three adults in the cab of 48 F1 provided you were not adverse to sitting really close.
