i realized my last post was not very clear so here i go again . I bought a 1961 bread delivery truck that had water in the oil so i took off the head , it was warped . My question is this how do i remove the rear oil inlit tube to the rocker arm it just spins i am wondering if anyone knows a trick is it supposed to come out ? i plan on turning this into a church on wheels for burning man thanks
Wonderbreadvanman,
the tubes on all the 223's I worked on were basicly just pressed into the shaft. If you can move and turn it around, you should be able to pull down, and turn it back and forth at the same time, and it should pull out. Might want to sqirt some kind of lube on it to make things a little easier. But to my knowledge, their all pressed into place. Hope this helps.
