OK, Abe, I am going to throw out the same suggestion. No excuse that a certain green Ford truck from PA should not show up in TN in Sept
Touché, Ray, you got me there! But my little F-100 can't pull a 24' Bar-B-Q rig! Best I could do is haul a gas grille! Or put charcoal on the floor of the bed and a rack of chicken halves on the bed sides to make PA style Bar-B-Q chicken. I don't know if it is popular anywhere else but we love it here. Lots of the rural volunteer Fire Halls make it as a fund raiser.
Here is what I am talking about. You simply spray the chicken (I use a garden pump sprayer) with a mixture of vinegar, melted butter and salt. then turn the chicken and spray again and repeat.
Roger, Your truck looks good red and black, but I guess I'm prejudiced. I'm painting my '49 F4 the same colors.
Mark
I love your truck Roger. Yes Black is beautiful. But so is most
any black fendered combo. And red is great. After a lifetime
of running off Hi way loggers I also like the yellow and black.
When I build my fat fender I will prolly go with a light blue and
black. That is also so sharp if done right. Lots of chrome needed
with them all though.
