cab mounts
Has anyone ever installed cab mounts on a 73-79 f-250. My truck needs them bad and I was wondering how big of a pain they are to replace. Are they welded in or rivited. Do the new ones bolt in or weld in.

They bolt in...spray some PB Blaster on the bolts the night before your cab-mounts swap. It is a pain, but what isn't on a truck?

PS contact 85351ho...we swapped his 79 cab and bed for a 76 cab and body after 'he' rolled it

i dont know if your just talking about the bushings, or the actual bracket...the brackets are riveted to the frame, the bushings are just held together with the bodyu bolt, but more often times that not, the two metal sleeves between the bushings stick and its alotta fun
