hey guys i have a 2005 f250. tonight i drove to kroger and the fuel gauge was working after i came out and cranked the truck it did not work so i pulled over and cut it off and cranked it again and it worked just fine. any ideas on what happened?
though that myself to but i am paranoid because i bout it about 4 months ago and the 2 weeks later i had to put new heads on it
Boy if that was related to heads that would be scary lol. Could have something to do with worn relays or sendor sticking or something silly like that--I hate electrical--always chase my tail.
haha you are right I was just saying this truck scares me haha
Aw--they can give you fits but deep down they're not so scary. Long as you monitor and keep up with the maint all will be fine.
Now my wife on the other hand--she won't even attempt to start it and I can get away with upgrades if I tell here it's necessary hahaha
haha all is good with it now i have the act livewire on it but it doesn't monitor the oil temp so i don't know if i need to buy a separate one or not
Thought it did? Maybe its a different livewire unit that does. You need scangauge or obdii adapter and torque pro or das boss. Ect,eot, icp ipr, ficm volt, volt, all the normal stuff needs to be monitored--will set you at ease.
