Turn signal flasher buzzing fix
With nothing to lose, I bought a 2-prong HD flasher from O'Reilly's for under $5 and clipped the female spade on while holding the other male spade to the flasher terminal on the $5 unit. Blink, blink, blink! Both the turn signals and emergency flashers work perfectly with the new unit. I did have to crimp on a female spade in place of the male spade on the OE Ford wiring coming to the unit. Hopefully this info will help someone else in the future.

There are TWO different round 2 prong flashers located in TWO different places. One for the turn signals, another for the 4 way emergency flashers.
T/S flasher plugs into the back of the instrument cluster. 4 way flasher attaches to a bracket, located under the dash (see parts catalog pic).
Both flashers look identical, but the one for the 4 ways is a H/D unit, has a louder CLICK
The 4 way flasher can be substituted for the T/S flasher, but not t'other way around as the T/S flasher is a "weak sister."
Thanx for the reply! I am 99% sure that the unit I removed is original Ford. I will get the PN tonite. BOTH the turn signal and hazard wiring each connect to one of the two terminals on the back of this big "box style" flasher. I traced both back to signal switch and the hazard switch in the glovebox.
According to the SN# my truck was built in Jan of 67. I found this on the web "they combined the regular and emergency flasher into one unit on the early production '67s built before dec 66/jan 67, I believe". If you want, I can take a good pic of the unit and Ford PN#? I did find that my PN ends in -A not -B as every single reference on the web refers to.

1967 production began the 3rd week of August 1966, production ended the 2nd week of August 1967. Last 6 digits of the VIN decode to the year/month of assembly.
There are no Ford parts numbers marked on parts after 1956, just casting or ID engineering numbers, when applicable.
These ID numbers vary, could have different suffixes...but once the ID number is crossed over to the Ford part number, then one will know the applications.
If this box has a Ford ID engineering number, I want to know what it is. EDIT = See next post.
C7TZ-13350-B .. H/D Turn Signal Flasher (Motorcraft SF-106) / Obsolete ~ To verify what this part looks like, there are 50+ available NOS, you could call one of the sources, ask for a description.
1967 F100/350 before serial number A52,001 - November 1966 (11/66 serial number range: A42,000-***,999) / See parts catalog pic for additional applications.

The PN# stamped on the Autolite mounting bracket is C7TB-13350-A. I have some good pics but at my forum level, must not be able to post pics. I can assure you that the factory wiring for BOTH the turn signal wiring and the hazard flasher wiring go thru this single box. My SN# is 76,74X. Based on the mounting screw location, this box was probably mounted before the dash pad and windshield were on as it went down the assy line. It would be almost impossible to mount it any other way. If someone wants to post pics of this part, let me know.
BTW, C7TB13350A crossed to C7TZ13350A. Which was replaced by C7TZ13350B.
NOS PARTS LTD has two of the C7TZ13350A at ONLY $22.50 each! 972-937-2201.
There are multiple places showing the C7TZ13350B. Including NOS PARTS LTD. But I think the B will be a lot more money. Let me know if you want me to list them.
Note. Phone number corrected. Thanks Bill.

What do you mean "plug in" anyway? Is that just where it's supposed to be held or does it actually have some type of connector besides the wires?
If it matters any, mine is a 72 F100.
