Armrest Issues

Hello!
So recently, i have been having a few issues with my armrest and its only gotten worse. When i put my armrest down it clicks and goes farther than it use to. I am unsure of why it started doing this. Now starting today, it wont unlock for me. Its starting to get really frustrating for me. I may end up buying a new piece, though its almost $300 for a simple armrest.

So i have come here hoping someone could possibly help me out and maybe i could fix it myself. If you could explain to me if it is broken, and if it is, explain how i take the armrest off. Pictures would be super helpful!

I have a 2013 ford transit connect xlt.

Not any help here, but is there any chance this could be a warranty problem? Or did you kill with warranty with mileage?

One Tuffy Option?

Nothing like this occurrence on Our 2015 TransCon However, We've already made arrangements to have the Ford Center console Installed thus eliminating the single armrest on the drivers side. True I realize that the center console is a little over $300 but this was planned in advanced and there aren't any other options out there.. except if one was to explore the utility van sites. Personally I've contact Tuffy Storage Boxes just to see if they are going to have anything lined up for the TransCon within the next year or so.
