Ok This might sound odd but I need someone with calipers ( mine are dial.) to tell me the measurements for the sleeve that the horn brush goes in. I have the inner measurements but the outer two i need.
the length of the unit as a whole
the height and with of the larger part
and the height and length of the skinny part.
The reasion I need this is because I'm turning a new one for my truck and if ith works well I will offer them on here for those who need them as well.
I'm all for making my own parts as well. When I had access to a full machine shop I made everything instead of buying it. It was a hobby for me and saved on cost even if it's only a 5 dollar part they all add up eventually.
On a recent trip to the Pick in pull I scored three of the bushings and am not in the process of turning some better ones. I'll post some photos when there done.
