Personally, a flat bed is more versatile than a regular bed IMO. Some trucks just can't pull off the look. And you can always add sides if you are hauling something that can't be strapped down like bails of hay or a haul of logs.
And you don't have to deal with unsightly dents in the bed sides, and busted up dually fenders.

Man those are nice looking trucks!! I think I would do one in a heartbeat if I could afford it. For my purposes, they are functional and I think they look really good....especially that aluminum one!
