My bronco fires up nice but after driving down the road a few miles it starts acting up an wants to bog out almost like I'm out of gas but I have a full tank, if I throw it in neutral an hit the gas it won't let me go above 2500-3000rpms an backfires through the intake, like a nice pop. So I turn it off and restart it while rolling in (N) and it will work fine for a few more miles then it's all over again. It's got a new fuel pump and filter, I'm working on doing the O2 sensor right now but it's stuck good. And the smog pump is chirping a bit also will that cause this? It's been sitting for a few years before I bought it

Reason: title wrong
well next would checking your fuel pressure at the rail with a pressure gauge. should be 35-40psi with key on and engine running. if the pressure drops when you rev the motor that is your issue or is anything less than what I mention when idling.
yea I don't believe that is enough. also when you say your timing is good what is it? should be set to 10-12*btdc with engine at temp and spout connector removed. Make sure you don't have any plug wires arcing.
