Torque converters

I do not have a Ford truck. Though I would love to have a 66 Bronco. I own a 95 t-bird V-8. On other forums I have asked about T.C. for a 4R70W tranny. With no avail all I get is smartassed coments. I know next to nothing about trannys. So dumbing it down to explain what I need isn't bad. I was curious about a T.C out of a 4.6 F150? Will it fit? Or should I just go to a store and buy one? One more thing, Is there a place in San diego that does good tranny work?
