Power chip swap?

Hi All:

I have a question, I have a power chip in my 95 PSD 7.3 it's and ambulance chip I think, Can I put it in my 97 PDS 7.3. Any help would be great as I'm stripping down the 95 and selling it but would like to keep the chip for longer legs on the 97.

Power chip swap?

In most cases they should swap if both have the same transmission but there are a few codes that don't. What's the ECU code of each?

Not sure about the ECU or to tell the truth what that is but will ask my guys. But they are the identical truck 5 speeds with the same rear end ratios. Just 2 years apart.
