2015 F250 Strobe Lights

Hello All - New member here. Pretty sure this would OK to post here being I have seen other lighting threads.

Just bought my new F250 and would like to put a strobe package on it. I would like it to look all stock, no light bars on the roof, etc. Will need to do independent lights, from what I understand in Virginia you can not do hide-aways. Will need to be independently powered to be used when key is off, with that requirement, the up fitter switches can't be used.

Looking for ideas on a really clean install, 2 or 4 lights in the grill area, then a couple on the rear bumper. The challenge is the roof. Looking for ideas on that. I have seen where it can be done in the cargo light area, but the front on the cab will be a challenge.

Thanks in advance, this a great resource.

Bummer you can't do hide-a-ways. Whatever you wind up using, don't plan on running them for more than a few minutes without the engine running, unless you install a dedicated, ISOLATED, battery for them.

I run the old fashioned sho-me xenon strobes and I drill holes in the back of the headlight, driving light, and reverse light housings, mount the bulbs, re install the light housings.

I mount the power supply under the middle of the rear seat and use up fitter #2. I know you don't want to use the up fitter so you'll have to wire up a hot line from the batt to your switch.

You say they can't be hidden, like, does that mean you can't mount the bulbs inside the stock light housings? That bites.

Whelen makes some real good and clean led style bulbs you can mount anywhere, that seems to be where I'd look if I were you. Much easier on the battery.

you should give a call to Priority One Emergency in canton MI. all they do is hook up warning lights on vehicles. my department uses them for our stuff plus he drives a 6.7 so he's familiar with what you have to work with as far as what lights will fit where you want to mount them. i usually don't throw names of businesses out there but these guys are good.

This looks to be a good option, I like the clearance light option. Do you know if the clearance lights still maintain the stock function, plus the strobe function?

If not then I could just replace one or two of the exiting clearance lights with the strobes.
