2012 Expedition - How to access Sync module

My understanding is that the Sync module in the 12 Expedition is in the center console on the right side? Any insight on how to access it and it's wire harness? I'm having a heck of a time in my radio install. HELP, please.

Too new for me. I don't even know what a sync module is or does.

It's the telematics everyone complains about. I've not had much trouble with it however.
